Digital Twins in Industry and Healthcare: Policy Regulation and Future Prospects in Europe
摘要
Digital Twins (DTs) have emerged as a transformative technology across various fields, particularly in industry and healthcare. By creating virtual replicas of physical systems, DTs enable real-time monitoring, predictive analytics, and improved decision-making. However, the widespread adoption of DTs encounters several challenges, including data security, interoperability, computational complexity, and ethical concerns. This paper explores the key challenges in implementing Digital Twins. It examines prospects in Europe and other regions, focusing on advancements in regulatory frameworks that will shape their evolution.
