An Ethnographic Poetics
摘要
This opening chapter invites readers into an ethnographic writing practice that takes seriously the ethnographer’s responsibility toward both field and reader. We present a poetics of ethnography: a theoretically informed approach to ethnographic writing that is nurtured through reading ethnographic texts with a literary eye. Writing, for us, is not the translation of finished thought but a way of completing it—an imaginative and ethical practice grounded in sensory experience. Resonant Ethnography is a call to experiment, to dwell in productive uncertainty, and to write in ways that remain open to the world, to others, and to the demands of the future.
