Smart Sports Association Management System with Real-Time Tournament Fixtures and User Notifications

Sports associations often encounter inefficiencies due to manual record-keeping, decentralized communication, and outdated tools, leading to scheduling conflicts, lack of transparency, and security issues. This paper presents the Smart Sports Association Management System (SSAMS), a full-stack web application designed to streamline operations and enhance user engagement in sports environments. The system is built using Java Spring Boot for the backend and React.js for the frontend, ensuring a modular, scalable, and high-performance architecture. It incorporates Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to assign permissions based on user roles such as administrators, players, and parents. Real-time features are enabled through Firebase and WebSockets, allowing users to receive live updates on fixtures, scores, and announcements. To ensure secure transactions, SSAMS integrates third-party payment gateways for seamless fee collection and tournament payments. OTP-based email verification and JWT-based authentication enhance security and trust. The system also includes automated tournament scheduling and performance tracking capabilities, laying the foundation for future AI-based analytics and data-driven insights. By combining modern web technologies with real-time communication and secure financial processing, the proposed solution addresses core challenges in sports management. The system improves operational efficiency, ensures data security, and fosters transparency and engagement across stakeholders. This paper explores the design, development, and impact of SSAMS in transforming traditional sports association management.
