Financial technologies (FinTech) have transformed the financial industry, improving efficiency, customer experience, and financial inclusion. Despite these advances, FinTech introduces significant challenges and risks. This study conducts a bibliometric analysis of 382 Scopus articles from 2014 to 2023, exploring the risks associated with FinTech. It aims to map the distribution of FinTech and risk publications, identify influential authors and journals, and identify prevalent keywords. The analysis reveals a marked increase in interest and research on FinTech risks since 2019, highlighting the sector's growing importance and the need for a comprehensive regulatory framework to mitigate these risks. The findings emphasize the evolution of the FinTech landscape, detailing the challenges and opportunities it presents, particularly in enhancing financial services while ensuring security and compliance. The study's insights contribute significantly to academic and industry discussions, suggesting future research directions to further understand and address FinTech and its risks.
