The Local Human Development Index (LHDI) serves as a region-specific human development assessment tool measuring fundamental aspects like health, education and standard of living at the subnational level. This study explores the LHDI in Poland for the years 2010 and 2023, focusing on its spatial distribution and component variables. By analysing regional disparities, we identify trends and changes in LHDI across different areas. The findings provide insights into the evolving socio-economic landscape of Poland and highlight regions requiring targeted policy interventions.

摘要

The Local Human Development Index (LHDI) serves as a region-specific human development assessment tool measuring fundamental aspects like health, education and standard of living at the subnational level. This study explores the LHDI in Poland for the years 2010 and 2023, focusing on its spatial distribution and component variables. By analysing regional disparities, we identify trends and changes in LHDI across different areas. The findings provide insights into the evolving socio-economic landscape of Poland and highlight regions requiring targeted policy interventions.
