After the publication in 2015 by the IARC that glyphosate is probably a carcinogen for humans, the carcinogenicity of glyphosate has been at the center of nearly all discussions on glyphosate. What follows are a short introductory note on carcinogenesis, the points of view of the world’s most important organizations, and of the literature on the carcinogenicity of glyphosate. Finally, based on this information, a suggestion on the carcinogenicity of glyphosate is given.
