Conclusions
摘要
The impact of climate change respects neither geographical boundaries nor convenient timing, with its consequences increasingly and visibly permeating all spheres of life. The fingerprints of climate change, shaped by local circumstances and conditions, manifest somewhat differently across regions worldwide. The common thread is that the combination of these accelerating effects and the painfully slow progress in mitigating them resembles a slow death from carbon monoxide poisoning in any part of the world. In the future, country-, region-, and sector-specific case studies, as well as analyses of weather phenomena, disaster types, or climate-related crimes, will help narrow down the topic of this book and provide detailed insights into broader themes explored in this work.
