In this chapter, I describe case number 1, a patient who attempted to kill herself by taking excess of alcohol. I have attempted to deal with symptomatology of depression in old age, associated risk factors, use of antidepressant and psychosocial management. Case numbers 2, 3 and 4 describe cases of actual suicide. What went wrong and what could be done to prevent it from happening?
