Echocardiography: Cardiac–Lung Function Interactions
摘要
The lung and heart interactions are related to the effects on the circulatory system of changes in pleural and transpulmonary pressures. They command the relation between the patient’s hemodynamics and the ventilation, spontaneous or mechanical indistinctly. The understanding of this concepts is essential, to optimize the positive pressure nor negative pressure on patient’s airway, and to reduce the hemodynamic iatrogenic potential. Finally, the cardiopulmonary interactions play a key role on the patients hemodynamic monitoring.
