Investigation into the Thermal Characteristics of Ceiba Pentandra Briquettes with Coffee Husk and Water Hyacinth as Supplements
摘要
The declining supply of fuel wood along with rising kerosene and cooking gas prices in India forces the nation to explore different energy sources for household and cottage manufacturing purposes. The substitution energy technology of biomass represents among these renewable sources. Briquetting Technology converts renewable biomass into solid forms that serve as convenient energy sources. The solid fuel biomass production uses Ceiba patendra plant material in combination with Coffee Husk and Water Hyacinth. The primary goal of this investigation involves briquette production from individual C. patendra shell sources alongside densification experiments combining Coffee Husk and Water Hyacinth properties. Manually operated Pressing Machine. Several trials were conducted to monitor the Thermal Properties of the samples.
