In this paper P colonies are considered as a string generating mechanism, and thus producing languages. It is shown that this model with two agents and each having three objects computes, in both maximally parallel manner as well as in sequential mode, the family of recursively enumerable languages. This device is used to generate 2D structures, first as chain code languages and next an actual 2D shape is generated.

摘要

In this paper P colonies are considered as a string generating mechanism, and thus producing languages. It is shown that this model with two agents and each having three objects computes, in both maximally parallel manner as well as in sequential mode, the family of recursively enumerable languages. This device is used to generate 2D structures, first as chain code languages and next an actual 2D shape is generated.
