The Perpetrators
摘要
It would be impossible to simply publish Naim Bey’s testimony without commentary. Many sections necessitate accompanying explanations, because the events and individuals that are mentioned are not familiar to European readers. Lord Bryce’s and Dr. Lepsius’s books, which are the most authoritative works on the Armenian Genocide published in Europe, cover events up to the year 1916. But the most horrifying atrocities and largest massacres took place in and after 1916, in distant deserts that were crowded with Armenians who had been violently snatched out of their homes and deported.
