Sustainability concerns the possibility for both humankind and other diverse life forms sharing this planet (Earth) to continue living on the planet and using its resources within the limits afforded by the planet. This chapter considers and presents possible methodological frameworks and pedagogical approaches (and models) with which teachers can integrate sustainability issues in chemistry.
