Credibility-Limited Revision
摘要
In this chapter, credibility-limited revision is thoroughly examined as a refined approach to belief change, where new information is evaluated based on its credibility. This approach is explored in the context of both belief bases and belief sets. Precise methods and specific postulates governing credibility-limited operations are defined. Detailed analyses demonstrate how credibility constraints influence belief integration and revision, highlighting practical significance in dealing with uncertain or less reliable information. Representation theorems are presented, offering a clearer understanding of the theoretical foundations of credibility-limited revisions.
