Scanning Holography Using Quadratic Apertures

We propose a quadratic aperture for the formation of scanning holographic images to further improve the resolution compared with that of uniform circular and linear apertures. The contrast of the reconstructed image using the quadratic apertures is computed. In this study, the Zika virus image was applied to the scanning hologram. The reconstructed images obtained in the case of scanning holography are investigated and compared with the corresponding images obtained in the uniform circular and linear apertures. The MATLAB code is used in the formation of all the coded and decoded images.
