Thread One: Proximity Radios as Actors in Society
摘要
This chapter discussed the discursive and material structuring elements of proximity radio stations, describes the radios as an assemblage of different actors, and presents discursive practices that shape radio content. It highlights particularly the difficult working conditions, the interactive channels, as well as gender gaps. The chapter finishes with a detailed discussion of access, interaction, and participation in, with, and through proximity radios.
