Clinical management of patients undergoing interventional radiological procedures is an essential component of Interventional radiology (IR) inside and outside the hospital. IR ward-rounds are a simple approach to future proofing the specialty in an inpatient clinic. Interventional radiologists offer longitudinal patient care including not only an intervention as such but also pre- and post-interventional care. It is necessary to determine suitability of elective in- and outpatients for radiological-guided treatments in a clinic-based setting to be able to carry out the appropriate allocation.

摘要

Clinical management of patients undergoing interventional radiological procedures is an essential component of Interventional radiology (IR) inside and outside the hospital. IR ward-rounds are a simple approach to future proofing the specialty in an inpatient clinic. Interventional radiologists offer longitudinal patient care including not only an intervention as such but also pre- and post-interventional care. It is necessary to determine suitability of elective in- and outpatients for radiological-guided treatments in a clinic-based setting to be able to carry out the appropriate allocation.
