Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) in miscellaneous malignancies covers a wide range of tumor types and locations. Despite the limited or variable experience and databases for different tumor entities, RFA has demonstrated itself as a safe and effective treatment for this spectrum of tumors. However, the suitability of RFA for a specific patient depends on factors such as the type, size, and location of the tumor, as well as the patient’s overall condition and potential comorbidities. Therefore, a multidisciplinary team should thoroughly assess each patient’s case to determine the most appropriate therapy, with the goal of achieving the highest therapeutic efficacy while minimizing the risk of adverse events.
