Hybrid angio-CT systems provide a technical basis that increases the handling and comfort of established procedures and enables combinations of percutaneous and endovascular procedures. These systems are well suited for diagnostic procedures such as CT hepatic arteriography as well therapeutic procedures such as abscess drainage. Hybrid angio-CT proved particularly beneficial in interventional oncology procedures such as intraarterial chemotherapy or complex ablation procedures.
