Society, organisations, and individuals have reached a critical juncture where it is evident that the traditional methods are no longer sustainable. This realisation stems from constraints imposed by the natural environment and evolving values manifested in habits and technological advancements. Consequently, ensuring long-term existence necessitates a requisitely holistic approach. The well-being of individuals in society involves various facets, including income, social cohesion, and environmental conservation. Accordingly, the foundation of well-being should be built upon material prosperity, social welfare, and ecological sustainability (Ban, Gospodarska rast in koncept sreče v tržnih družbah. Thesis. In contemporary society, well-being is progressively emerging as a crucial element for satisfaction across all societal strata. “Society 5.0” tries to include all factors that should be a part of a modern sustainable society. It thoroughly covers the ecological, societal, and financial aspects and all associated factors. It also includes, to a certain extent, the technological aspect. However, it fails to recognise the enormous development of advanced technologies and artificial intelligence, especially their impact on society. In particular, there is a lack of concepts and proposals for the optimal integration of artificial intelligence and advanced technologies to improve all stakeholders’ (real and virtual) well-being. The latter we incorporated in the proposed improved concept of The Society of Sustainable Social Responsibility, “Well-being Society 6.0” (first introduced in Šarotar Žižek et al. (Sustainability 13(16):9186, 2021)). If we wish modern society to continue to develop, it is inevitable to create a sustainably balanced synergy between humans, modern (communication informational) technologies (ICT) and artificial intelligence (AI). Otherwise, humans significantly risks regressing to one of the previous development stages. This chapter identifies several additional aspects necessary to achieve a “Well-being Society 6.0” as a crucial attribute of an ISSR society.
