A traditional hybrid prosthesis (THP) is a form of full-arch dental restoration that combines the stability of dental implants with the full coverage of traditional dentures. Unlike conventional full dentures that rest on the soft tissue, hybrid dentures are securely anchored onto implants surgically placed in the jawbone. They are made using durable materials like acrylic or porcelain, designed to mimic the look and feel of natural teeth. The novel hybrid type prosthesis (NHP; 4/6 implant-supported fixed complete prosthesis with immediate loading treatment concept) is a contemporary solution for full-arch restoration. This method involves the strategic placement of four/six dental implants strategically positioned in areas of the jaw with higher bone density, maximizing support for the prosthetic teeth. The materials employed in the NHP include titanium, along with high-quality acrylic and zirconia.
