Digital Treatment Planning and Guided Surgery
摘要
Digital technologies have transformed the field of dentistry, offering advanced solutions for implant planning and application. Virtual implant placement and guided implant surgery have become essential tools for dentists, providing more predictable and safe results in challenging cases. These technologies have also become crucial for minimally traumatic or flapless surgery, optimal implant positioning and immediate loading, and reducing postoperative pain. The evaluation of 3D data obtained from computerized tomography and optical scanners, together with modern implant planning software, allows careful simulation of surgical and prosthetic stages. Implant position, bone quality and quantity and height, location of anatomical structures (nerves, vessels, sinuses) are evaluated, prosthetic and aesthetic evaluations are made, and careful three-dimensional positioning of planned implants ensures the best clinical results, especially in terms of aesthetic aspects.
