This chapter presents the open science approach to literature-based discovery implemented in this monograph. Section 4.1 provides access to several datasets that have been used in the original LBD articles to illustrate the potential of early and more recent LBD approaches to replicate the reported discoveries. Section 4.2 provides selected Python components that constitute specific LBD pipelines that can be reused to illustrate the original LBD approaches. These pipelines, implemented in the form of Python Jupyter notebooks, are complemented by more elaborate LBD pipelines developed within the individual chapters of the monograph, explained in Tutorials in Python sections, included in most of the subsequent chapters of this monograph.
