Adult Head and Neck Oncologic Reconstruction After TORS Using da Vinci Xi
摘要
Head and neck reconstruction in adults remains a challenging field due to complexity of the anatomy, close relation with fundamental functions like speech and swallow and psychological impact of visible scars. Robotic-assisted surgery has made remarkable contribution to reducing morbidities and complications traditionally associated with open surgery. In the hands of an experienced team, da Vinci Xi robot can be a valuable tool to improve patients’ functional outcomes and quality of life.
