This paper analyses a sensitive part of the Cloud Supply Chain of a care provider that uses HiX through a hospital data server. The computational analysis approach used is based on adaptive network-oriented modelling. Models were created to simulate and analyse the process of a cyber-attack on a hospital data server. These simulations showed how by learning from experiences the ability to effectively counter an attack can increase per attack. In addition, it is analysed how the level of communication and the level of expertise amongst the Security Operations Centre are quite determinant in how effectively an attack is countered.

摘要

This paper analyses a sensitive part of the Cloud Supply Chain of a care provider that uses HiX through a hospital data server. The computational analysis approach used is based on adaptive network-oriented modelling. Models were created to simulate and analyse the process of a cyber-attack on a hospital data server. These simulations showed how by learning from experiences the ability to effectively counter an attack can increase per attack. In addition, it is analysed how the level of communication and the level of expertise amongst the Security Operations Centre are quite determinant in how effectively an attack is countered.
