A Hybrid Variant of the Koch Curve and Islands Using a Vectorial Approach with Mathematica
摘要
In this paper, a hybrid variant of the Von Koch curve is studied and generated, which does not use the classic iterated function system but instead uses a vector method. Using this method, creating a variant of the Koch islands using any regular polygon is possible. To do this, a code is developed in Mathematica that can build any regular polygon from two points: the center and the other the first vertex of the polygon. Unlike other usual methods for generating fractal curves, this one offers the advantage of generating the variant as a starting point for any plane segment.
