E-learning is an integral part of modern educational system. The development of information technologies has a direct impact both on the creation and presentation of educational material and on the process of knowledge assessment. E-learning presupposes the presence of an electronic educational environment. Today there are a number of educational platforms, services and Internet portals that are designed for e-learning. Learning management systems are used by most universities around the world. One of the most popular learning management systems is LMS Moodle. This open source system has a wide range of functionality to support basic educational needs. LMS Moodle allows to conduct testing, register scores for practical assignments, as well as other course components that require scoring. A significant advantage is the ability to analyze the scores received by students. They can be viewed in the web interface of the system, as well as downloaded as a separate file. This option gives a wide range of possibilities to apply mathematical statistics methods to the obtained data and analyze them.
