Our investigation is aiming to answer the following research question: How does anxiety impact the academic performance of university students during exam periods? Previous research has shown that there is a correlation between anxiety and students’ performance during examination periods. In this study we aim to model and test scenarios of the impact of stress on the students’ performance during exams periods. To do so, we take into account several variables regarding psychological and behavioural reactions of the person but also their environment. The study uses network-oriented modelling to predict performance of students experiencing low and high exam stress levels.
