This chapter investigates how collaborative financial technology (FinTech) models, particularly public–private partnerships (PPP), are reshaping financial inclusion efforts in Africa. It explores the strategic alliances between governments, private sector actors, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), and development partners that are enabling the rapid expansion of digital financial services to underserved populations. Drawing on multiple case studies, the chapter highlights how partnerships have facilitated infrastructure development, payment system interoperability, and inclusive digital innovation. It also examines the role of development institutions in capacity building, funding, and policy advocacy, while analyzing the limitations of these models, such as regulatory fragmentation and infrastructure constraints. The chapter concludes by presenting strategies for scaling collaborative FinTech solutions through inclusive governance, investment, and multi-stakeholder engagement, ultimately making a case for PPP-led innovation as a driver of inclusive economic transformation.
