New trends in IT technology contribute to dental care processes by bringing dental professionals and their patients closer together confidence in the adoption of IT technology in the new dental health environments being a basic requirement in the personalized care relationship between the dental service provider and his patient. It aims to answer the question: What is the acceptance of IT technology to bring the dental professional and his patient closer in the process prior to a dental health intervention? Method: Questionnaires with Likert scales are used to collect data. Social networks invite people over 18 years of age to answer the questionnaire who are or have had dental health treatment. A response of 430 questionnaires was achieved. They are filtered for incomplete data and a sample of 365 questionnaires remains for the PLS-SEM multivariate analysis with SmartPls 4.1.0.9. A limitation of the study does not consider the affective and contextual factors that interact with the patient's beliefs. It is concluded that there is a positive trend towards the acceptance of IT technology for the rapprochement between dental professionals and patients.
