ICCubeX is a new initiative that integrates and improves the technology commercialisation ecosystem in UTM under the management of ICC to be more structured in producing high quality technopreneurs, generating wealth creation through technology commercialisation and creating a conducive ecosystem to technopreneurs. The model of framework of the ICCubeX Program can be applied to other Higher Education Institutes in order to develop the entrepreneurship ecosystem for researchers and students. The incubator provides experiential learning for real-world ventures, fostering entrepreneurial independence, resilience, and social awareness. Currently, 11 of 34 participants are poised to commercialise their products, reflecting the program’s success and ongoing potential. The programs have resulted in substantial financial gains, with RM1.97 million and RM2.78 million in commercialised revenue reported in 2022 and 2023, respectively. This suggests an effective application of the technology and training provided, as well as a strong market reception.
