This systematic review of literature brings together studies on what automation, digital transformation (DT), and artificial intelligence (AI) are used to do in organizations of today. The research investigates how DT and AI impact various organizational processes like talent acquisition, training and development, and knowledge management by identifying contextual factors that generally affect them. It explores particular HR processes as well as their effect on overall organizational outcomes, including performance, productivity, employee engagement, and satisfaction. A thorough search through academic databases, HR-focused publications, and conference proceedings produced a list of relevant papers. Narrative synthesis was used to analyze the data along with subgroup analysis for specific HR procedures. This review gives an understanding of the implications surrounding scholars’ or practitioners’ application of automation in DT and AI to provide insights for further study or other prospective areas for future research directions.
