This study examines Task-Technology Fit (TTF) in green auditing within healthcare, assessing its impact on auditors’ competence, AI adoption, and sustainability. A GPT-4-powered prototype was developed to enhance auditing efficiency. Findings highlight AI’s role in improving technological readiness and continuous auditing, extending TTF’s relevance and offering insights for AI-driven sustainable auditing practices.
