Infective Complications After Trauma Surgeries
摘要
Infective complications remain a significant concern after orthopedic trauma surgeries despite advancements in surgical techniques and perioperative care. Infective complications encompass a spectrum of issues ranging from superficial wound infections to deep-seated, implant-related infections, osteomyelitis, and septic arthritis. These complications can lead to prolonged hospital stays, increased healthcare costs, impaired functional outcomes, and, in severe cases, life-threatening situations. Early diagnosis and prompt intervention are paramount in the management of infective complications.
