Inclusive Leadership
摘要
This chapter explores the concept of inclusive leadership and its critical role in promoting workplace inclusion for people with disabilities (PWD). Grounded in theories like optimal distinctiveness, leader-member exchange, and positive work relations, inclusive leadership balances employees’ needs for uniqueness and belonging while addressing organizational goals. The chapter identifies three practical approaches to inclusive leadership—vacancy, ability, and growth-oriented—and discusses the strengths and limitations of these approaches in balancing PWD’s needs for uniqueness and belonging and in inclusion work more broadly.
