This chapter presents a comprehensive practical framework for organizing carbon-neutral sustainable events in HEIs. Developed through a systematization bibliometric analysis of pre-scoped studies in the literature, the proposed framework identifies the main sources of carbon emissions associated with events. Additionally, it offers a means to develop viable strategies and sustainable mechanisms to reduce or offset carbon emissions. This work also presents a theoretical contribution on the subject that helps systematize the knowledge to be gained from a bibliometric analysis of the subject.
