摘要

The University, a promoter of education, research, and extension, is a historical and ideological institution of social transformation. This study identifies the risks of the commodification of education and the disconnection from the values of young people, proposing that organizational guidelines (mission, vision, and values) should be aligned from a historical and cultural perspective with the challenges of the twenty-first century to fulfill the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The research analyzes current institutional strategies and technological and sustainable practices. It highlights the importance of an organic and systemic vision in a world of interdependent datified ecologies, discussing the implementation of digital innovation ecosystems involving industry, universities, startups, and cultural change with agile methodologies. The study also examines the virtualization of education and the implementation of artificial intelligence to achieve the SDGs. These strategies promote interdisciplinary collaboration, sustainable practices, and inclusive education, driving the evolution of universities. A holistic and interconnected approach is proposed, integrating innovative methodologies and sustainable practices, allowing universities to better face global challenges and contribute to social progress. The study provides insights and strategies for higher education institutions to align with the SDGs, promoting a future-oriented educational paradigm.
