摘要
In this chapter, I explore how technology, especially AIAI, can support decolonizing world language classrooms and promote social justice in language education. However, I also address critical challenges, such as access disparities, AI bias, ethical concerns, and technology’s limited intercultural competence. I stress the need for comprehensive teacher training to effectively navigate these issues. Embracing technology for decolonization requires critical engagement with its strengths and limitations, ensuring it fosters equity rather than reinforcing colonial legacies. Finally, I call on educators to use technology to celebrate linguistic diversity, amplify marginalized voices, and create equitable learning spacesequitable learning spaces, advancing the goals of inclusive and just language teaching.
