This study presents the influence of the biogas-syngas fraction on the dual-fuel engine retrofitted from diesel engine using a twin direct injector. In the diesel mode, the engine power is 12 kW. Engine power decreases by 25% when using 100% syngas fuel, but improves 8.36% when using 100% biogas fuel. Compared to the traditional suction method, the dual direct injection system can improve performance by approximately 7% in syngas mode and 16% in biogas mode. NOx emissions increase with the proportion of biogas in the syngas fuel. CO emissions tend to decrease when the biogas proportion in the syngas fuel exceeds 20%, and vice versa. It is worth noting that increasing the injection pressure from 2 to 5 bar does not significantly affect engine performance.

摘要
