In the process of transmitting force and energy, gears are subject to bending stresses, wear, slipping friction. That leads to gear damages where bending stresses cause micro cracks and quickly break teeth. This paper presents finite element analysis (FEA) of a simulation in Ansys Workbench software. The simulation determined bending stress in a pair of gears in case the load is placed in the curved contact line in the pair of engaged gear, thus determines to the bending strength of the gear. The results recommended to be widely used in manufacturing gears in auto transmission systems.

摘要
