High School Implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports
摘要
High school Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) implementation has gained increased attention within the research and applied work related to PBIS over the past decade. Research related to PBIS implementation and outcomes at the high school level has expanded significantly and positive outcomes are increasingly being documented. High schools that implement PBIS with fidelity have seen decreases in office discipline referrals (Estrapala et al., 2021; Freeman et al., 2016, 2019a; Flannery et al., 2011), decreases in suspensions (Freeman et al., 2019a; Bohanon et al., 2006) increases in student attendance (Freeman et al., 2016, 2019b), and increases in student perception of climate and safety (Bradshaw et al., 2014).
