Role-Based and Energy-Efficient Serialization by Considering Aborted Transactions
摘要
In order to energy-efficiently serialize conflicting transactions based on the role concept and increase the concurrency of transactions, the Energy-Efficient Role Ordering with Read-Data-From (EERO-RDF) scheduler is proposed in our previous studies. However, some transactions are aborted to maintain the RDF relation on transactions. If transactions are aborted, the transactions are re-started and re-scheduled. Hence, the execution time (ET) of aborted transactions increase. In this paper, the EERO scheduler by considering Aborted Transactions (EERO-AT) scheduler is newly proposed to reduce the ET of aborted transactions by improving the EERO-RDF scheduler. The ET of aborted transactions is shown to be shorter in the EERO-AT scheduler compared with the EERO-RDF scheduler by simulation.
