Recently, many electric products are used in our daily life, including devices with motors such as hairdryers, razors, toothbrushes, air conditioners, and so on. Additionally, IT devices like computers, printers have fans to cool their internal temperature. Also, cell phones have motors which are used for the vibration function. So, motors have become one of essential elements in our daily lives. On the other hand, in recent years, Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) motors have been increasingly used in factories, advanced machineries and robots. Compared to Brushed Direct Current (BDC) motors, BLDC motors offer more precise control and longer life span, making them more commonly used. However, users need to learn how to create control programs for controlling these kinds of motors. In this paper, we present some learning materials aimed for teaching the use of BLDC motor and the corresponding control programs. We investigated and evaluated the learning materials by giving some lectures to high school students and conducting a questionnaire. The questionnaire results were generally positive, with all scores exceeding 4.0. Also, the level of assignments was evaluated as appropriate.
