ISTAT has activated a digital transformation process in the processes of collection, production and dissemination of information and statistical data that has also generated a significant impact on the transversal processes of acquisition of goods and technical services through the adoption of new methods and reallocation of resources. This paper proposes a representation of the role of technology, of some innovative tools used in the process of change in progress and a macro analysis of this impact on the activities of acquisition of goods and services of the Institute.
