The domain of victimology is expanding resulting in integration of empathy, mediation, and restorative justice within the topography of victim-centered approaches beyond the legal narratives. This research provides the gateway for reconstructing relationships through the transformative process in which mediation is driven by empathy plays a crucial role in restorative justice and also analyses the chromatic healing of wounds of victims through the colors of restorative dialogues. This reveals that victim–perpetrator mediation, as a comprehensive strategy, facilitates significant psychological recovery by enabling individuals to articulate and confront the reality of suffering caused by interpersonal violence. These approaches provide victims with opportunities to control their narrative and transform from silence into powerful dialogues for change through structurally created telling and retelling spaces. The findings demonstrate the development of victimology as mediation is seen not only as a tool but also as fundamental to resolving conflict and providing holistic healing to victims beyond legalistic measures. In this case, it illustrates how reframing the understanding of justice leads to society’s responsiveness to active empathetic constructs from mediation and restorative frameworks as mechanisms to achieve active supportive dismantling of the victim. As previously stated, the research suggests that mediation practices ought to be informed by more sophisticated victimological frameworks, advancing empathy in approaches to conflict resolution and emotional healing.
