In order to automate critical cybersecurity tasks, such as data collecting and analysis and real-time reaction execution, this review paper examines how SOAR systems help. Organizations can gather and compile data from several sources, analyze incidents with sophisticated algorithms, and carry out standardized responses with customizable playbooks by utilizing SOAR systems, which integrate a variety of security solutions. Organizations can improve overall security posture, eliminate human error, and cut reaction times by utilizing SOAR solutions, which automate complicated procedures, increase issue detection, and guarantee rapid resolution. This article examines the architecture, salient characteristics, and advantages of SOAR platforms and highlights their vital role in modernizing incident response, which in turn equips enterprises to remain ahead of the curve in terms of cyber risks.
