In the Creativity Training Program, teachers were requested to define creativity before the commencement of the training program. This initial step aimed to gauge their pre-existing understanding of creativity set a baseline for their conceptual frameworks, and potentially highlight areas for further development during the program. Although the proposed definitions varied in how closely they aligned with the concept of creativity, one commonality was the idea of newness. Before the training, teachers generally understood that “creativity means new ideas.” However, it's important to note that there is no consensus among thinkers and researchers on a single definition of creativity.
