Study on Indoor Model of Resistance Reduction Material of Concrete-Soil Contact Surface

By wrapping the outside of the caisson, the lateral friction resistance of the caisson can be reduced. In order to study the drag reduction effect of different drag reducing materials, silicone, rubber, PTFE, tin sheet and other materials were selected for indoor model test. Using the material type of contact surface as a single variable to obtain the relative side friction between different drag reducing materials and soil. The test results show that the lateral friction between PTFE and rubber is similar to the drag reduction effect is good and has engineering application value. The relevant research conclusions can provide a basis for the selection of caisson sedimentation measures.
