One of the biggest challenges for modern companies is to protect their knowledge against cybercrime. Adopting an information security management system is crucial for protecting organizations from cybersecurity threats. This system includes policies that greatly influence job satisfaction. This study investigates the effect of implementing a new artificial intelligence policy within an existing information security management framework on job satisfaction. Given that each employee’s daily behavior significantly affects the organization’s cybersecurity vulnerability, grassroots-level support for these policies is essential. A top-down implementation approach could lead to low employee compliance and resistance to critical cybersecurity developments in this rapidly changing sector. The research involves a case study in an IT service company utilizing the ISO 27001 standard. Initially, a thorough document analysis of the information security management system policies is performed. Subsequently, a new artificial intelligence policy will be introduced. Currently, a diary study will examine its impact on job satisfaction. Finally, a survey will be administered to assess any changes in job satisfaction, conducted both before and after the diary study.
