Each time, a delay can result in very high costs. It is essential that all suppliers involved in the manufacture of an aircraft have real-time visibility of demand and inventory to adapt to fluctuations and changes in customer requirements. As a result, it is also essential for customers and suppliers to have a common tool that enables them to better collaborate and gain visibility over demand as well as inventory (see Fig. 3.1).
